Bodies of Water
This long term project was born out of my curiosity for a novel photographic technique, namely near-infrared photography, Bodies of Water is a visual study of natural bodies of water and their place in our shared cultural memories. I am intrigued by how our recreational interactions with them hold such significant meaning for us as the embodiment of freedom, bravery and our place in the natural world.
These images have been taken as part of this ongoing project since 2017 and spans across various African countries.
